Present – Paul Anderson continues to teach privately educating people of all ages in a variety of styles of guitar.
1996-2002 Taught private students, wrote music, played with local bands, produced Television and Radio, worked in technical operations and finish services for Hallmark Entertainment Network doing video editing and 3-D graphics’ animation; and continued private lessons from
jazz guitar legend Dale Bruning.
1990-1996 Continued personal studies, working with greats such as Dale Bruning. Continued teaching private students and playing in bands. Free-lanced as a post-production audio/video engineer.
1990 Received special commendation for “meritorious musicianship” in Guitar Player Magazine’s Soundpage Competition
1985 Named “Best New Talent Showcase” Guitar Player Magazine
1985-1998 Created independent record label. Released 2 original jazz fusion albums. – “Electric Tigers” and “Here to Stay” with international distribution. Featured former Dixie Dregs members T. Lavitz and Andy West.
1985-1990 Built recording studio and began recording advertising jingles and produced tapes for local songwriters.
1979-1985 Graduated from the Guitar Institute of Technology. Post-graduation began teaching as well as playing with Top-40, Rock
and classic country bands. Composed background music for several film documentaries.
1973-1977 Studied Jazz guitar privately and played with jazz bands.
1972-1977 Played professionally in rock, country and blues bands.
1967-1973 Studied privately with a variety of teachers including Chuck Hughes and Bob Weber.
1965-1967 Began guitar lessons at age 7 with Denver Symphony Orchestra Concert Master, Hi Schulman
